Tentações de Canela

On October 24, 2024 we arrived early for the opening of the National Tile Museum so we walked around the corner looking for coffee and a pastry. We were lucky to find this small café just a couple of minutes away. There were two people working and a couple of customers, this was a local (non-tourist) place and it's amazing how welcome they made us feel without a word spoken among us. We did feel odd though as we waited to pick up our order at the counter when the gentleman behind the counter "shooshed" the woman whose back is to the camera so we could have the seats at the window. So, if anyone knows the name of the delicious pastry --- please let us know! Otherwise, if you are in the area, please don't miss this place.
